Saint Basil Coffee was founded by three UST Alumni (John Boyles, Mary Meyer Boyles, and Mary Boyles Carr) along with Jim Boyles, Sr. and Basilian Father, Vince Thompson, CSB. Saint Basil Coffee is a non-profit organization whose profits are distributed to our Catholic missions to promote social justice and provide help for families who live in extreme poverty. All who work with the organization are volunteers. There are no paid salaries.
Fair trade coffee beans are purchased at higher than world market prices to help small farmers save their farms and provide for their families. According to the Boyles family,
“a cup of coffee can make a difference”!
