Become a Mentor - USTinsights Alumni Mentoring Students Program
The USTinsights Alumni Mentoring Students Program is designed to provide career insight for UST students by UST alumni. The one-semester program begins during the spring semester and runs from January to May.
Mentors and students are carefully matched together by the Alumni Relations and Career Services offices. About 25 alumni are matched with 25 students, according to alumni professions and the career interests of the student. Mentors must apply by Nov. 30, 2009 to be considered.
For the mentor relationship to be successful, mentors must commit to meeting with their student for three on-campus meetings during the months of January, March and May. Mentors will also be required to meet with their student off-campus during the months of February and April no less than two times, although the more time mentors can spend with students the better. Additional networking opportunities will also be available.
