Helping You to Invest in Your Future
We understand that higher education is a major investment and that is why we are dedicated to creating a plan that is affordable for you and your family. In addition to grants, scholarships, and loans there are several other financing options available. To reach a UST student counselor, call 713-525-2133 or 713-525-6974.
Financial Aid
The University of St Thomas participates in all applicable state and federal programs as well as scholarships from our own institutional resources. Check with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid for more information. We make these available to students on a first-come, first-serve basis to assist with paying tuition and fees. Financial Aid will be applied to your tuition and fees. If your financial aid is more than what you owe in tuition and fees, you will be refunded the difference. If additional funds are needed, several options are described below.
Payment Options
Interest-free Payment Plans. Many of our students supplement their financial aid package with an interest-free payment plan accessible online. The payment plan is term based, interest free, and is used for the net balance of charges after their aid has been applied.
Company Deferment Plans. Students may defer payment of tuition and fees until the end of the term if the student is eligible to participate in their employer's tuition reimbursement program. These arrangements must be set up before the start of each term. Please read the Deferment Plan Instructions and complete the Deferment Plan Form.
Online Payment by Check or Credit Card. Payment by American Express, Discover, MasterCard and e-checks are available online at myStThom.
Payment by an Authorized Third Party. Student may choose to create access for parent or other party to view balances or pay on the account.
