Business Journal Online - Online access to 40 Business Journals, including Houston, as well as annual Book of Lists for all markets and Best Places to Work guides. Find unparalleled coverage of local companies, business leaders and business trends by 600+ journalists across the country. Conduct industry research, search job postings and find out about local networking events, plus much more. If you are trying to access the Business Journal from off campus, click here.
Vault Career Insider - A resource for job and internship hunters who are looking for a competitive edge, the Vault Career Insider consists of 24-hour access to industry and company profiles. The Insider profiles give you an inside look at the company and industry trends and strategies that will boost your job prospects. (Note: You must use your university email address to log-on.)
Internships.com - This site provides up-to-date listings of internships in many geographic regions in the United States and internationally for part/full-time positions with public/private organizations for a variety of terms in many academic disciplines. To register to access UST's Premium Internships.com Site, click here, select Join the Network, then select University of St. Thomas from the drop-down menu, enter the UST promo code: USTCelts, and click continue. Once you have set up your profile, you can assess the site by clicking here, clicking on "Students Enter Here" and entering your username and password, previously created.
Houston 1000 Corporate Directory - Find over 10,000 significant business organizations in the greater Houston Area, including names and titles of officers and key personnel. Hard copies of this directory can be found in the career center. (To Log-on: When on the site, click "Sign-in" at the top. Username: h1000@stthomas.com; Password ID: ust.)
