Each year, Career Services hosts a variety of events to help you build your network, learn about job opportunities, and gain valuable skills needed in today’s business environment. 

Career Events, Fairs and Workshops Calendar

• Helping Hands Non-Profit Job and Volunteer Fair - The fair is a great opportunity to meet with representatives from Non-Profit organizations to learn about volunteer opportunities, full-time and part-time positions, internships, and Work Study positions. The Helping Hands fair is open to the campus community ~ all are welcome to attend.

• Career Expo –This event attracts organizations from a variety of industries to campus to recruit for full-time entry-level and experienced positions and internships. The event also offers participants the opportunity to network with representatives from the organizations. The Career Expo is open to both students and alumni of all majors. 

• Business Connections – Specifically for MBA and MSA students and alumni, this event hosts an exclusive number of employers seeking to hire and network with graduate students in business.

• Etiquette Dinner & Networking Night – This very popular event is sponsored and attended by local employers and is open to all students.  Students will learn about proper business and dinner etiquette while dining with fellow students and employers.  Opportunity to network with employer sponsors is available before and after the event.

• Texas Job Fair - Hosted by the Houston Area Consortium of Career Centers and the University of St. Thomas, this event rotates campuses throughout the Houston area and is hosted on the UST campus once every four years.  One of the largest college job fairs in Texas, the Texas Job Fair draws overy 130 employers each year and over 2000 student participants.
