Setting up Your Blackboard Account
Login into Blackboard
Your Blackboard username is the same as your Webmail username. Blackboard handles all the outgoing class-related mail through your UST Webmail account.
Make sure that you check your UST Webmail account for incoming mail. If you have not setup your Webmail account, follow step one before proceeding to step 2 otherwise, go to step 2.
1) Activating Your Email Account
- Go to myStThom. Under UST On-Line Services, click on the Login to Webmail link. Choose the “New User? Sign up online” link.
- Enter your UST ID Number and your date of birth (yyyymmdd).
- Enter a password that is at least 6 characters long.
Enter your password a second time and click submit to receive your username.
- Return to the Webmail homepage, logon with your username and the password you selected during the signup process.
2) Activating Your Blackboard Account:
- Go to myStThom. On the left below, “UST On-Line Services”, click on the "Login to Blackboard" link.
- At the Blackboard page, click on the Login button Type in your Blackboard username. For your Blackboard password, enter your date of birth (yyyymmdd).
- Once you've logged in, you must change your password. Click on the "UST Blackboard" tab, click on the "Personal Information" link then click on the "Change Password” link. Follow the on-screen directions. For your convenience, you are allowed to make it the same password as you use for myStThom and Webmail.
