Technology Support Services (TSS) - Video Services is available for special classroom video needs and other university sanctioned events. For all details, see the Video Services sections of the Service Request and Fees Guidelines document.

- Requests are handled on a first-come first-serve basis and are not guaranteed.
- A minimum of 5 working days notice is required to adequately schedule requests.
Services and Costs
We offer package pricing for events and special lectures that includes shooting, editing, rendering to DVD, and online streaming of internal sanctioned university events.
Service is on a first-come basis and service is not guaranteed without advanced notification and confirmation. A minimum 5 business day notification is required.
Services
- Video Recording & Editing
Video for special events, special classroom lectures, and panel discussions for the UST community. Full-service, post-production is available which can involve editing, rendering to DVD and/or online streaming.
- Video Conversion & Duplication
Conversion and duplication are available for copyright-free materials. We are able to convert most formats to DVD.
- DVD Authoring
Post production, compilation, and other authoring services are available Contact us for more information.
- Video Streaming
Upon request, University sanctioned events captured by Video Services may be posted on the Video Archive . We may also upload non-copyrighted videos (or copyrighted videos with permission) privately for use in Blackboard.
Costs
See the Video Service Fees section of the Service Request and Fees Guidelines document. Other special circumstances may also incur charges.
Please plan ahead and make requests at least 5 working days in advance of the need.

Charges are based on package or service level requested. Please email video@stthom.edu or call 713-942-3440 to discuss your needs and applicable charges.
- Rush Requests
Requests for rush orders (any request with less than 5 business days notice) may be fulfilled when resources are available. Rush requests may incur an additional charge.
- Payment Options
All work to be charged to a University account must be accompanied by a valid UST account number. Non-departmental services may be paid via cash or check.

Video Services reserves the right to refuse any order it deems to be in violation of the copyright laws of the United States. Reproductions of copyrighted work will not be made unless evidence of permission to do so is presented.
Limit of Liability
Submitting any film, video tape, audio tape, CD, DVD, slide, negative, publication, art for processing, reproduction or duplication of any kind constitutes an AGREEMENT by you that any damages or loss due to negligence or other fault by Video Services will only entitle you to replacement of like amount of unexposed film, tape or disc.
Except for such replacement the acceptance by TSS – Video Services of any film, video tape, audio tape, CD, DVD, slide, negative, publication, art for reproduction of any kind is without other warranty or liability, and recovery for any incidental or consequential damages is excluded. |
