Teaching Fellows

Teaching Fellows
Fellows Goal:  IUE Teaching Fellows are faculty members who can provide workshops, discussion groups and consultation on matters related to faculty development.  This is not an exclusive group but rather a group of colleagues who support a group of colleagues on matters related to teaching and learning, promoting personal and professional development and advancing improvement with the express purpose of enhancing student success.

Fellows Charge: We are faithful professors dedicated to faithful learning who make a distinctive contribution to our University’s mission based on our individual talents.

Fellows Structure:  Eight faculty members work with the IUE director in a co-leader relationship to identify faculty needs.  Each Fellow has his or her own area of expertise and area of contribution for program events that meet faculty development needs.  Fellows commit to a one-year appointment (January-December 2014) as invited by the IUE director and/or through faculty recommendation. The Fellows will convene a formal meeting once a semester.
