Patricia Gras was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago. After losing her job last year, a friend talked her into stepping out of the darkness into the studio. Gras’ latest album “Simplicity” will be the focus of the event “Singing for Healing,” a concert benefiting breast cancer survivors at 8 p.m. on May 11 in Jones Hall, 3910 Yoakum, on the University of St. Thomas campus.

May 07, 2013  Rosaries Offered for Austin Stanfill
In memory of alumnus Austin Stanfill ’12, who passed away on May 3, University of St. Thomas Campus Ministry will lead a rosary at the end of every 12:30 p.m. Mass from May 9-17 in the Chapel of St. Basil. The Rosary will be recited at the end of the 10:30 a.m. Mass on May 12. Join the University community to pray and remember Stanfill.

Janelly Palacios received first place and Juana Martinez received third.
