  • Christina Montoya2nd Collection Sept. 13-14 Supports UST Scholarships

    With limited financial resources, Christina Montoya’s dream of attending a Catholic university might never have been realized. Montoya applied to UST and received scholarships to help offset tuition. Parishioners in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston are invited to support scholarships for students like Montoya through the Second Collection for Catholic Higher Education on Sept. 13-14.

  • Students Publish Bioinformatics Tool in Leading Journal

    After two years of development, three University of St. Thomas students, under the guidance of Dr. Albert Ribes, assistant professor of biology, and Dr. Maia Larios-Sanz, associate professor of biology, published their bioinformatics tool, SCDFinder, in “Bioinformatics”, the leading journal on the topic.
