CIS Distinguished Diplomacy Issues Briefing
Wednesday, April 9, 2014 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
The American relationship with Taiwan is of increasing importance to US foreign policy at a time of Beijing’s increasing assertiveness in the East and South China seas and of significant commercial importance to the success of the Trans-Pacific Partnership in the years to come.

Please join us for the viewing of a videoconference between Taiwan’s president, Mr. Ma Ying-jeou, and the Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington DC. A local panel discussion will follow with former US Ambassador Christopher Ashby, Director General Mr. Steve C.C.
