Psychology & Financial Behavior

The Center for Business Ethics and Cameron School of Business presents “Linking Psychology to Financial Behavior” Roundtable Discussion with Dr. Gulnur Muradoglu, Director, Behavioural Finance Working Group at noon, April 10 in Malloy Boardroom.

Behavioral Finance is a fairly new discipline that gained attention through the banking and financial crisis of 2008. Dr. Gulnur’s area of expertise is the interdisciplinary bond between psychology and finance. She is the author of numerous articles and publications on behavioral finance. Dr. Gulnur will lead the roundtable discussion on the application of psychology to financial behavior.

Dr. Gulnur Muradoglu is a Professor of Finance at Cass Business School and the Director of Behavioural Finance Working Group in London, U.K. BFWG, a research based group, brings in together practitioners with internationally respected academics in finance, psychology, sociology and economics through discussion groups, workshops and conferences.
