Scott Sullivan Dissertation Defense

Logo for Center for Thomistic Studies On Friday, January 17, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Brezik Room of Sullivan Hall, Mr. Scott Sullivan will defend his doctoral dissertation entitled, “Nihil Est Sine Ratione: A Defense of the Principle of Sufficient Reason.” It is customary for these defenses to be public, so any member of the University community is welcome to attend. The defense will last approximately two hours. When the examiners have concluded two rounds of questions, members of the University of St. Thomas faculty will have the opportunity to ask further questions, at the discretion of the chair. Students may ask questions of the candidate after the defense.
