Celts Come From Behind To Beat Langston

Jeremy LewisThe University of St. Thomas men’s basketball team earned a hard-fought win against Langston University on Monday, 51-47.

The Celts fell behind 28-15 before surging in the second half. Senior Jeremy Lewis led UST in scoring with 13 points. Freshman Deric Dudley chipped in with three 3-point baskets in the second half to help spark UST’s comeback.

UST’s record improves to 14-7 overall and 12-3 in the Red River Athletic Conference. Next they travel to San Antonio to face Our Lady of the Lake University on Feb. 4.
