The University of St. Thomas volleyball team lost 0-3 to MidAmerica Nazarene University in the opening round of the 2012 National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics Volleyball National Championship Tournament. With scores of 13-25, 18-25 and 17-25, the Celts ended their historic season on Nov. 17 at the Bell Family Arena in Olathe, Kansas.
UST’s Stephanie Biediger led the offense posting eight kills and a .130 attack percentage. Brittany Weiler had 19 assists and eight digs on the match. The defense was led by senior defensive specialist Monica Litle with nine digs.
