Menís Basketball Scores 20 Wins
Travis LampleyThe University of St. Thomas men's basketball team rolled over Bacone College, 77-59, on Feb. 14 in Oklahoma. The win improves St. Thomas to an overall record of 20-6 and 14-5 in the Red River Athletic Conference. The win marks the first time the Celts have reached the 20-win plateau.
St. Thomas jumped out to a 40-29 halftime lead. The team never looked back as they coasted to get the win on the road.
Senior point guard Travis Lampley had another double-double with 13 points and 10 assists. Senior Caleb Williams shot for 17 points, and fellow senior Adrian Morales tied his highest-scoring game of the season with 18.
The Celts have this weekend off before traveling to Paul Quinn College to play at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 18.
