Careers in Psychology Night a Success

 Students interested in the psychology profession, turned out for the first UST Careers in Psychology Night, Thursday, Sept. 20. at Anderson Hall. The event was hosted by the Psychology Department and Psi Chi, the Psychology Honor Society.
The goal was the introduce students to the different career options available in the field of psychology. Speakers included experts in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Applied Research, Clinical, Cognitive, Industrial/Organizational, Developmental, Career Counseling, Law, Medicine/Psychiatry and Neuroscience. Workshops were also offered by the UST Career Center in graduate school applications and job-hunting.
An estimated 79 UST students and eight students from other nearby campuses took part in the event.
