UST Offers Online Course on C.S. Lewis and Christian Apologetics

 The University of St. Thomas School of Theology, located at St. Mary’s Seminary, now offers an online course. This course, C.S. Lewis and Christian Apologetics, allows students pursuing advance degrees at the School of Theology to learn at their own pace and utilizes all aspects of online learning such as chat groups, discussion threads and videos, all of which are accessible from your laptop.
Currently, more than 20 students from the programs in Master of Divinity, Master of Arts and Master of Pastoral Studies are exploring the literary works of C.S. Lewis and Their Relation to Christianity.
“This course was launched in August 2009 to accommodate students whose schedules could not easily mesh with a class that meets at fixed times, and who are trying to balance the pursuit of a degree with the challenges of a full-time job or family,” said Dr. Lawrence DiPaolo, associate dean of UST’s School of Theology.
The University of St Thomas School of Theology is dedicated to providing outstanding theological education in the Roman Catholic tradition. The School of Theology was established in 1968, when the Theology Department of St. Mary’s Seminary became part of the University of St. Thomas.
