Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society Inducts New Members

The University of St. Thomas School of Education Kappa Delta Pi honor society held their induction on Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 and welcomed 29 new members.
Kappa Delta Pi is a professional education honor society committed to fostering excellence in education and promoting fellowship among those dedicated to teaching. The Pi Lambda Chapter at UST has been in existence since 1983. To be approved for membership, students must be admitted to the School of Education, maintain in minimum of a 3.25 grade point average, have the approval of a full-time faculty member, exhibit commendable personal qualities worthy of educational ideas and sound scholarship and have an interest in the profession of teaching and a willingness to work to further the profession.
