The University of St. Thomas Men’s basketball team defeated Southwestern Assemblies of God University 76-68 Monday night in Houston.

Senior Jeremy Lewis led the Celts in scoring with 19 points while freshman Deric Dudley chipped in 14 points and six rebounds. Southwestern was led by sophomore Dominique Rambo with 26 points.

The win improves UST to 11-7 overall and 9-3 in conference play. Next the Celts will face the University of the Southwest in Houston on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
