The University of St. Thomas women’s basketball team lost two consecutive games on the road, bested by Bacone College and Jarvis Christian College.

On Feb. 6 the Lady Celts lost 66-33 to Bacone. Sophomore Gaby Guzman led UST with 11 points and Aujanee Armstrong chipped in with nine

UST lost again on Feb. 11 to Jarvis. After a slow start the Lady Celts made a game of it before falling 68-49. Junior Hershiira Boone-Rodgers led the team with 14 points and freshman Maddy Ali added 10.

The Lady Celts are now 4-15 in conference play and 6-18 overall.

They play LSU-Shreveport on the road before returning home to play Wiley College on Saturday Feb. 18, during UST’s Celtic Warrior homecoming weekend.
