Women’s Golf Competes in First Tournament

 The St. Thomas Women’s Golf team competed in its first-ever tournament on Feb. 13 and 14. The Lady Celts teed up at the Jack Brown Memorial Tournament hosted by Texas A&M International University at Laredo Country Club. The women battled cold and rainy conditions as well as a very difficult layout at Laredo Country Club to finish 5th in the NCAA Division II field. The team was led by freshman Kara Jones, who fired a two-round total of 186 to finish in 15th place.
