
The University of St. Thomas
men's basketball team beat Langston University, 78-70, on Jan. 10 in Oklahoma. The Celts broke Langston’s four-game winning streak.
The Celts shot 60 percent versus the Lions’ zone defense, and had the edge with a score of 44-32 at the half. As a team, UST was 10 of 20 from 3-point range.
Caleb Williams had 23 points, and
Bryan Kaase had 20.
Travis Lampley had 15 points and 10 assists.
St. Thomas will play Paul Quinn College at home at 7 p.m. on Jan. 14 in Jerabeck Gym.
