Earn an MBA, MSA Without a Business Background
9/15/2009
Have you ever considered pursuing an MBA or MSA, but worried you lack the sufficient educational background in business? Bridge to Business, a newly redesigned program by the University of St. Thomas Cameron School of Business, is making it easier than ever for you to pursue a Master in Business Administration or Master of Science in Accounting, regardless of your undergraduate discipline.
Bridge to Business eases the transition to MBA or MSA classes for students without an undergraduate business or accounting degree by providing foundation business courses that will ensure success in a competitive business graduate degree program.
These courses are compressed track modules that allow a student to enter the CSB graduate degree programs in August, October, January, March or May. This flexibility means students can start a graduate degree without waiting for traditional semesters to begin.
Bridge to Business requires:
• Up to 15 credit hours of compressed track, seven-week prerequisites tailored to each student’s educational needs.
• The courses provide the necessary foundations in: accounting, statistics, finance, microeconomics, macroeconomics, management, marketing and business law.
• These newly revised seven-week proficiency courses allow incoming graduate to complete the introductory portion of the MBA or MSA program with greater convenience and efficiency.
• Upon transcript reviews, some or all prerequisites may be waived based on previous study.
