UST Appoints Lee Holm as Director of Admissions
6/5/2009
University of St. Thomas announces the appointment of Lee Holm as director of Admissions.
Holm has been the acting director of Admissions since November 2008. A member of the Admissions team since 1998, Holm served in numerous capacities including transfer admissions counselor and associate director of Admissions.
“Lee Holm is dedicated to UST and has proven to be a hard working manager in the Office of Admissions,” said Vickie Alleman, vice president for Marketing Communications and Enrollment Management. “His attention to detail and ability to see the big picture at the same time are valuable qualities which will help the University move forward.”
Holm first enrolled at UST as a freshman in 1990, and received his Bachelor of Arts in communication in 1995. He earned a Master of Liberal Arts with a concentration in philosophy in 1998. He also served on the Residence Life staff from 1991 to 1999, and was the assistant coach and later the director of the UST Speech and Debate team from 1995 to 2003.
“In my 19 years at UST, I have enjoyed countless opportunities to interact with students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni and benefactors and have been fortunate to develop numerous friendships along the way,” Holm said. “In my new position as director of Admissions, I am excited to work closely with UST’s various constituencies and especially the admission staff to help recruit outstanding freshman and transfer students for the future.”
