UST Students Receive Who’s Who Recognition
A group of 25 University of St. Thomas students have been selected as Who’s Who Among Students In American Universities and Colleges award recipients. Who’s Who recognizes outstanding campus leaders from more than 2,800 schools in all 50 states and is nationally recognized as a mark of scholastic achievement.
The 2011 UST recipients include Alexis Barboza, Rakel Berg, Melissa Binstock, Christian Brillantes, Grace Cheung, Daniela Cooz, Adeel Faruki, Otariya Folorunso, Sunita George, Saba Ghaziyani, Kurt Gonzalez, Hiba Haroon, Estefania Hernandez, Nicole Hickl, Ronald Key, Misbah Khatri, Teresa Kreiner, Duc Lam, Catherine Loth, Raymond Noriega, Lizbeth Pallathumadom, Angela Peltier, Anthony Pham, Michelle Rubin and Sidwalende Zeda.
To be considered for this recognition, students must be current juniors, seniors, or graduate students, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be involved in at least one student organization, club, honor society or other campus activity. Students are nominated by UST faculty and staff and asked to submit a one-page statement explaining why they deserve to be selected. A committee of representatives from the faculty and administration make the final student selections.
