Alyssa Kain Signs With Lady Celts Basketball Team

 Alyssa Kain signed a letter of intent to play for the University of St. Thomas inaugural women’s basketball team for the 2011-2012 season. Kain is a current student at UST who made the Dean’s list her first two years on campus. She brings experience and leadership on the campus that should transform onto the court. In high school Kain was named “Player of the Tournament” at the Cy Woods invitational.
“Alyssa is a very good shooter and should contribute greatly next season,” said Mike Ricks, women’s basketball coach.
Kain is currently a junior majoring in psychology.
“As a regular student here for two years I’m excited to be a player on the Inaugural women’s basketball team at St. Thomas,” Kain said.
