Brooklyn McCall Signs with Lady Celts Basketball Team
Brooklyn McCall signed a letter of intent for play for the University of St. Thomas inaugural women’s basketball team for the 2011-2012 season.

McCall is a transfer student from Wharton Junior College and was a very successful high school point guard for Austin High School in which she averaged 10.7 points per game and 4.7 assists per game. At Austin High, McCall was named Honorable Mention All-District as a freshmen as well as 2nd Team All-District as a senior.

“Brooklyn is a high-energy player and we like the way she pushes the ball up the floor. She will contribute as a point guard for us next season,” said Mike Ricks, women’s basketball coach.
