Community Gardeners Host Harvest Feast

 The Environmental Science and Studies Department will celebrate the Community Garden harvest with a blessing and cookout at 6:15 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 20 in the Community Garden on Sul Ross Street , across from Guinan Residence Hall.
The dinner menu will include fajitas and salsa made from tomatoes and hot peppers grown in the garden.
During the event, there will also be a blessing for the new cross and meditation area in the garden, which was constructed as an Eagle Scout project by Daniel Clay, a St. Thomas High School Student.
The event is open and free for faculty, staff and students. RSVP to ECOS@stthom.edu.
