Gaby Guzman Signs with Lady Celts Basketball Team

 Gaby Guzman signed a letter of intent to play for the University of St. Thomas inaugural women’s basketball team on June 17.
Guzman comes to St. Thomas from San Diego City College where she averaged 10 PPG 3 RPG and 2 APG. At Franklin High School (El Paso) she was a standout athlete in basketball and soccer, earning All-City Honorable Mention during the 2008-2009 school year. In 2008, Guzman was awarded All Tournament Team during the Lubbock Caprock Tournament and was a Top 25 player to watch in El Paso during the 2009 season.
At Franklin, she excelled in the classroom, earning Academic All State all four years. At UST, Guzman is a majoring in business.
