William J. Flynn Center for Irish Studies is listed as a “
Useful Link” on the
Safe-Home Programme Ireland website. Safe-Home is a national organization that seeks to assist older Irish-born emigrants to return to their homeland.
“The Flynn Center is happy to welcome Irish and Irish Americans to Houston and the Southwest,” said the Director of the Center Lori Gallagher, J.D. “We look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with Safe -Home and to facilitate communication with others.”
The Center is the only Irish Studies academic and cultural program in the Southwest. The Center is also listed as one of the top 10 Irish Studies programs in the country by
IrishCentral.com.
