The
Office of Health Promotion and Wellness and the University of St. Thomas
women’s volleyball team hosted the annual Dig Pink volleyball game for breast cancer awareness on Oct. 6. This year’s game had the new addition of the Society of Macrina, the new women’s club at UST, who ran the bake sale.
The event included an information table, and with the help of the bake sale, the event raised more than $420.
The volleyball team and the
men’s basketball team wore pink ribbons in support of the event.
“It was a great event and we appreciate all the support from the UST community,” said Volleyball Head Coach Kallie Noble.
All proceeds went to
The Side-Out Foundation in support of breast cancer awareness, education and research.
