Paul Selected to All-Tournament Team

 Shirley Paul, a University of St. Thomas women’s volleyball junior libero, was named to the Southwestern University All-Tournament Team for the weekend of Oct. 26-27. The Celts played competitive volleyball during the NCAA III Southwestern University Halloween Tournament in Georgetown, Texas.
Although the Celts went 0-4 on the weekend, Paul led the defense totaling 72 digs in four matches and averaging 4.8 digs per set.
“It was a tough and long weekend but a definite building experience for us,” Paul said. “I think the challenges of this past weekend will help us with two difficult conference matches this week.”
