The University of St. Thomas volleyball team placed second in the Red River Athletic Conference Championship on Nov. 10. The Celts came up short against the University of Texas-Brownsville losing 3-0 with sets of 12-25, 16-25 and 18-25.

The Celts were able to gain a bid to the 33^rd Annual National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Volleyball National Tournament. The opening round is on Nov. 17 with tournament play from Nov. 27-Dec. 1 at Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
