7/6/2010
The MBA special topic International Trade and Negotiations is an innovative summer course that Adjunct Professor Dr. Habib Chamoun-Nicolas pioneered at University of St. Thomas Cameron School of Business.
The following are testimonials from students of the new special topic summer course:
“Negotiation” opportunities are present in everyday situations, by consciously acknowledging these opportunities, and using the tools given in class, one is guaranteed walking away with a great DEAL for everyone all the time.
Sandra Estrada
As a chief executive officer of my Church, I am now equipped with the necessary knowledge and praxis to make proper managerial decisions and representation of the institution entrusted to my care. Recently, I had to interview and hire architects for a three million dollar project, contractors for restrooms’ dividers, repair roof and looking forward to hiring a constructor for a three million dollar building.
Benoit Mukamba, (Rev.), M.Th.S
Dr. Chamoun's summer class in International Trade and Negotiation has been very interactive, due to the fact that theory is simulated and practiced with business cases.
Edwin E. Cuc
After a week of being in the class, I begin to see how negotiations are evident in my everyday life. I was able to use the strategies immediately in my professional career as I moved into my new job.
Angela Prince
The information on negotiation tactics and strategies has helped me in my real-life negotiations.
Kimilia Davis
The International Trade and Negotiations Course …is an interesting course, very practical and you are going to learn things that you can easily apply not only in your job but also in your daily life with friends and family.
Maria Carolina Maggio
I had the very fortunate experience of enrolling in Professor Chamoun’s International Trade and Negotiation course. This course was one of the most interesting classes I have taken while pursuing my M.B.A.; it was also one of the most useful in terms of the being able to immediately apply the concepts and principles taught in class to my professional career. This class is so beneficial academically, professionally, and personally that I strongly believe it should become part of the M.B.A. course curriculum. I would highly recommend this class to all students of business; however, the principles learned in this course would be highly valuable to anyone.
