On a three-game run, the University of St. Thomas men's basketball team
won its third game in five days on Dec. 17 in Hobbs, N.M. Defeating University of the Southwest 86-59, the win was the team’s second straight Red River Athletic Conference
road game, which brings them to No. 4 in the conference.

The University of St. Thomas extended the nomination deadline for the 2013 Mardi Gras King and Queen to Dec. 21. Ideal nominees are preferably scholarship recipients, significant contributors to the University as a student and leaders of faith and character. Students can nominate themselves or be nominated by other students, faculty or staff.
