The University of St. Thomas Business Ethics Society welcomes Ron Farmer, CEO of US LED, to speak on “Strong Values Equals Strong Business” at 7 p.m. on Nov. 27 in the Malloy Board Room. Farmer will share his insight on building a successful company based on strong values, customer service, valued employees and innovative products.

 The University of St. Thomas basketball programs and the African American Student Union completed its first annual Thanksgiving Food Drive on Nov. 21. The groups teamed up to provide approximately 172 meals to the Houston Food Bank. |

Nov 21, 2012 Men’s Basketball Cruises to 5-1
 The University of St. Thomas men’s basketball team sailed to 5-1 on the season after a 63-54 win against Wayland Baptist University on Nov. 20 in Plainview, Texas. The 5-1 start is the best UST has had in their first four years back on the hardwood. With the win, the men keep their No. 1 ranking in the Red River Athletic Conference. |

Nov 21, 2012 Irish Gala Raises $330K for Center
The University of St. Thomas William J. Flynn Center for Irish Studies, rated among the top 10 Irish Studies programs in the country, celebrated the contributions of well-known members of the Houston Irish and Irish American communities at its annual Irish Gala held Nov. 9 at The Houstonian Hotel. The honorees were recognized for their contributions to the Center’s mission of preserving Irish heritage and culture.
