 Energy and fuels are the main driving forces behind industrial and economic development according to a research paper by Dr. Elmer Ledesma, assistant professor of chemistry at University of St. Thomas. His paper “Vapor-Phase Cracking of Eugenol: Distribution of Tar Products as Functions of Temperature and Residence Time” was recently published in “Energy & Fuels,” a scholarly journal published by the American Chemical Society. |

The University of St. Thomas Celts for Life and Knights of Columbus, along with other student volunteers, worked together to build the Cemetery of the Innocents, a memorial exhibition of more than 3,000 crosses that symbolize the number of abortions performed in the United States each day. |

| Mar 11, 2013 Cardinal DiNardo Speaks on Liturgy
Daniel Cardinal DiNardo gave insights on “The Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy,” the first document of Vatican II, issued on Dec. 4, 1963, and the state of the Liturgy in the United States, both before and after Vatican II. The lecture was on Feb. 20 in Jones Hall on the University of St. Thomas campus.
