The University of St. Thomas William J. Flynn Center for Irish Studies will present “Intersection and Illumination: New Insight into Ancient Irish Tales,” an evening of traditional Irish storytelling with Susan Gallagher. The event will be held from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15.

UST has made changes to the core curriculum to better integrate the core curriculum with academic majors. It is strongly recommended that every student meet with an academic advisor to determine which core curriculum track is most appropriate for the student’s individual course of study.

The University of St. Thomas William J. Flynn Center for Irish Studies will host "Saints & Tzadiks: A Concert of Irish and Yiddish Songs," by renowned Irish singers Susan McKeown and Lorin Sklamberg, lead vocalist of The Klezmatics. The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16, on the University of St. Thomas campus, Jones Hall, 3910 Yoakum.

The Center for Irish Studies reached milestones and broke records at its annual Irish Gala held Nov. 5 at the Houstonian Hotel in Houston. The Gala honored Peg and William J. Flynn for their role in the development of the Center for Irish Studies.
