Register for Summer Classes Today

Summer classes are a great way to catch up, get ahead or just get started on your degree. This summer, St. Thomas will offer a variety of courses for current students and high school students seeking dual credit. Choose from morning, afternoon, evening, Saturday or online classes.

Students can also learn-on-the-go when they sign up for study abroad courses. Study abroad goes beyond the traditional classroom curriculum to expose students to global diversity and encourage students to contemplate their UST experience in a global context. This summer study abroad destinations include Ireland, France, Hungary, Spain and Morocco.

View a full list of undergraduate or graduate course offerings on the main campus, at Glassell School of Art or St. Mary’s Seminary. Read a description of the courses offered and learn about prerequisites in the online undergraduate catalog.

You may be eligible for a summer grant. Students who received a Pell grant in fall 2010 and/or spring 2011 may also be eligible for a Pell grant for summer classes. For more information, contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at 713-525-2170.

High school students in their junior or senior year can also apply for Dual Credit. The deadline to apply for Dual Credit is May 6 for both summer I and summer II sessions. View a list of summer Dual Credit courses. High school students interested in applying for Dual Credit courses should contact the Office of Admissions at 713-525-3500 or admissions@stthom.edu.

Center for International Studies
Established in 1981, the Center for International Studies is Houston's oldest degree-granting center of international higher learning. International Studies prepares students for careers in international business, law, politics and public service. In addition, the Center promotes understanding of international relations, cultural differences and the benefits that come from cooperation within the human family.
