UST Men’s Basketball Signs Nate McAnelly

 Nate McAnelly , 6-foot-5-inch, 185-pound wing from Bridge City High School, signed a letter of intent to play for the University of St. Thomas men’s basketball team for the 2010-2011 season.
At Bridge City High School, McAnelly averaged 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks per game. He shot 46 percent from the field on the year. He was also named District 21-3A Offensive MBP and Player of the Year by the Southeast Texas Basketball Association.
UST is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) playing in the Association of Independent Institutions (AII).
