Jzavon Redic Signs with Lady Celts Basketball Team

 Jzavon Redic signed a letter of intent to play for the University of St. Thomas inaugural women’s basketball team for the 2011-2012 season. Redic is a graduate of Clear Springs High School where she was an All-District selection her sophomore and senior seasons. Not only did Jzavon excel on the basketball court but also she stood out in the classroom earning Academic All-District as well as the Distinguished Student Award.
“Jzavon came to us late this spring and made a great impression on me from how physical she is, said Mike Ricks, women’s basketball coach. “She can be effective on the inside as well as the outside and the sky is the limit with her potential.”
Redic, who plans on majoring in business, said “I’m really excited about the transition from high school to college and starting a new tradition here at St. Thomas.”
