Dean Donates to Scholarship Fund

 Dr. Poldi Tschirch, dean of the School of Nursing, contributed to UST to establish the Robert and Ann Tschirch Endowed Scholarship in Nursing in memory of her parents.
The scholarship will be awarded annually to a UST student enrolled in the nursing major.
“My parents provided me with an excellent education which has helped me develop a very rewarding career in nursing,” Tschirch said. “I know they would be glad this scholarship will support other nursing students.
Tschirch has also donated to the Annual Fund, the Performing Arts Society, the Nursing Gala and the Sister Mary Martina Casey Endowed Chair in Nursing fund.
“I am pleased to have the opportunity to give back to this
community, which has been so generous to me,” Tschirch said.
