
After a minor letdown on Oct. 13 versus Southwestern Assemblies of God, the University of St. Thomas
women’s volleyball team crushed Huston-Tillotson University on the road 3-0, with sets 25-16, 25-14 and 25-16, on Oct. 16.
Senior setter
Brittany Weiler boosted her teammates with 37 assists, five kills, four service aces and 10 digs on the night.
Kirsten Kubicek led the Celts with 15 kills and nine digs.
Stephanie Biediger tallied 11 kills for the match.
After hitting .289 in the first set and .324 in the second, UST’s offense garnered .444 to close out the win. The Celts recorded 15 kills on just 27 swings as a team in the final frame.
