Cameron School of Business Hires New Director of Graduate Programs

 Graduate students at the Cameron School of Business can seek advice on careers and courses from the new Director of Graduate Programs, Bill Ivins. In addition to advising students, Ivins will focus on continued development and advancement of graduate programs at the Cameron School of Business.
Ivins comes to UST with a strong and diverse background in business, having worked as the chief operating officer for a public internet consulting firm and in management positions for a technology training company and a financial services firm. Such experience, he believes, will enable him to both guide students in their multitude of career choices and expand a vibrant graduate program with long-standing valued links to the business community.
“Having a business background allows me to use my direct and personal experience to provide insight and career guidance to business graduate students,” Ivins said.
Ivins received an undergraduate degree in finance and an MBA from the University of Houston. He has also worked in the public school system as a middle school math teacher.
