Model UN ConferenceThe University of St. Thomas Model United Nations (MUN Club) is a student organization that promotes diplomacy and learning through participation in Model United Nations Conferences. Model United Nations Conferences simulate United Nations committee sessions, during which students represent countries on a number of international issues. In preparing for these conferences, Model UN Club members learn the finer points of researching their assigned country, writing, problem solving, negotiation and public speaking.

As a student-driven organization, UST MUN helps members grow not only as diplomats but also as student leaders through arranging conference logistics and fundraising activities.
