Mardi Gras King, Queen Exemplify UST Mission
The ideal Mardi Gras king and queen should embody the University’s mission to educate leaders of faith and character. With the crowning of C.J. Miller and Meredith Smith as king and queen, this year is no exception.
 
UST Goes Green for St. Patrick’s Day
Since the early 17th century, St. Patrick’s Day has been observed to commemorate St. Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. At UST, the day will be celebrated with a Mass celebrated by Daniel Cardinal DiNardo and a brunch.

Principal Channels Passion for Education
While first pursuing a career in oil and gas, HISD Lead Principal Hafedh Azaiez, wasn’t expecting to fall into a career in education. When he did, he discovered his love, passion and exceptional skill in teaching the leaders of tomorrow.
 
Record Turnout for Day of Service
Early on a Saturday morning, 90 students, faculty, staff and alumni set a record for attendance and participation as they enjoyed the early morning sun and cool breeze while participating in service projects during the 10th annual President’s Day of Service.
 
Volleyball Alumna Named Coach of Year
In just her second year as the head coach for varsity women’s volleyball at Hargrave High School, Keanne Burt has reached a milestone in her career – winning the 2012-13 high school volleyball All-Area Coach of the Year award.
