Network and Core Systems Availability

Production Systems

Regular system maintenance time is reserved for one Friday of the month between 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. Some dates may change for Production Systems (i.e. Blackboard, myStThom, Webmail) due to holiday or academic needs.  Please see schedule below.

These systems will be unavailable at some time during the scheduled maintenance window.  Please plan accordingly.

If a scheduled maintenance period conflicts with activities such as registration or final exams, IT will do everything possible to reschedule to accommodate these critical periods.

Maintenance Schedule

  • Sept. 19th
  • Oct. 24th
  • Nov. 21st
  • Dec. 19th

If there are any questions about the availability of a system, please contact the IT Help Desk at 713-525-6900 or via email.

Read more information about the system maintenance period, IT method of notification and procedures for emergency maintenance.

Test and Development Systems
Test and development systems are used by both users and IT staff. The availability of these systems is subject to current projects.
