Msgr. William D. Steele Lecture

Bishop Daniel Flores will lecture about controversies involving the Church and the government surrounding the HHS mandate and immigration policy. He will examine how the Church's mission is affected by the shifting character of the secular consensus in the United States, and the consequent fluidity of public consciousness and public policy. Bishop Flores will also discuss how we might respond to this ongoing dynamic.
