Homelessness Awareness

As a part of UST’s Social Justice Weekend, Chelsea Wade, with SEARCH Homeless Services and a University of St. Thomas graduate, will speak at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 in the Old Bookstore, Crooker Center. To increase awareness of the homeless in Houston, Wade will describe the services of SEARCH and their volunteer opportunities.
The event promotes the 2nd Annual National SleepOut UST. This is the first of three events that promotes empathy, understanding and action about homelessness during Social Justice Weekend.
